Shawne Dutkiewicz

Shawne Dutkiewicz has spent most of her life in Timmins, where she is known not only for her legal expertise but also for her vibrant personality and unwavering commitment to clients. A 1994 graduate of the Law Clerk program at Cambrian College in Sudbury, Shawne returned to Timmins in 1997 and has since built a distinguished legal career spanning nearly three decades.

Since 1998, Shawne has gained extensive experience across a broad range of legal areas, including Real Estate, Family Law, Insurance Disputes, Wills and Powers of Attorney, Personal Injury, and Motor Vehicle Accident claims. Her current primary focus is on personal injury litigation, motor vehicle accident claims, and Accident Benefits matters.

Shawne has developed an exceptional understanding of the complexities of injury-related cases and is particularly valued for her ability to manage challenging Accident Benefits matters with precision and efficiency.

She is a natural at connecting with clients, especially during emotionally difficult times. Whether it’s helping someone navigate the aftermath of an accident or simply brightening a tough day, Shawne brings warmth, empathy, and positive energy to every interaction. A long-standing mentor to junior staff, Shawne is known in the office for her wit, humour, and boundless team spirit. Her enthusiastic presence has brought memorable moments to firm retreats in Toronto, Punta Cana, and Timmins alike.

Outside of work, Shawne enjoys spending time in nature, gathering with friends and family, and cheering on her beloved Toronto Maple Leafs. A proud wife and mother of two adult sons, Shawne married her high school sweetheart and continues to embrace life with passion, resilience, and her trademark sense of humour—often accompanied by a good coffee and the occasional splash of Baileys.
