Simarjit Kaur

On April 8th, 2024, Simarjit joined the team at Meunier Carrier Lawyers as a full-time summer employee in the role of Legal Assistant.

Born and raised in the quaint village of Bhai Rupa in Punjab, India, Simarjit has been deeply rooted in the rich culture and traditions of her homeland. Growing up in Bhai Rupa has instilled in Simarjit a strong sense of community and resilience.

In the fall of 2024, Simarjit will be entering her second year of a Diploma in Office Administration at Northern College in Timmins, where she achieved honours in her first year of the program. In addition, Simarjit obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application (BCA) from Sant Baba Bhag Singh (SBBS) Memorial Girls College in Sukhanand, India, which she completed between 2015 and 2018.

Simarjit possesses excellent organizational and technical skills and is very familiar with the Microsoft Office programs. She is recognized for her reliability, adaptability, and resourcefulness. With a strong foundation in accounting and proficiency in Sage 50, Simarjit is well-versed in customer service, and she is eager to continue learning new skills. Simarjit is self-motivated and has effective communication abilities. Simarjit is multilingual, being fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.

Simarjit aspires to apply her skills and knowledge in a professional setting, contributing effectively to the team at Meunier Carrier Lawyers while furthering her career development.
